Gamme 8 PC är ett hybridtyg där två olika världar möts. Polycottontyget består av en blandning av syntetisk polyester och naturlig bomull (PC-polyester, bomull). Polyester minskar vikten och bidrar samtidigt till att stärka tyget med sina ripstop-egenskaper jämfört med ett tyg i 100 % bomull som skulle prestera svagare i det avseendet. Bomullen i tyget gör polycottonen andningsbar på ett sådant sätt att fuktig luft passerar genom tyget (inte träffar väggen och skapar kondens), men samtidigt skyddar mot regn och nederbörd utifrån.
