If you want a secure grip in snow and sand, you need tent pegs that ensure the possibility of grip in just such conditions. Regular tent pegs simply do not deliver when the ground consists of sand or snow. You need tent pegs of considerable length and width in such a way that they provide a suitable grip in the loose soil. These tent pegs have a 50 cm long rope attached where the tent pegs are buried horizontally in the snow/sand.
